Easy Way to Weather Proof Your Home
Now that Winter is on its way its time to board up the house and hibernate for the winter. With in increase in energy cost and the horrible economy there is some thing that you can do to help in these trying times to help save some money.
It is a fact that most heat lose in a home is through windows. I have a quick and simple solution to help with that. First you are going to need some tools and supplies.
what we will need to get is some visqueen, and hand held utility stapler and a tongue suppressor (Popsicle stick)
take the tongue suppressor and tape it to the utility stapler. Then cut the piece of plastic to the size of the window and staple it to the wood trim around the window. The space that is created by using the tongue suppressor will make it easier to remove the plastic then winter is over.
That is it, all done that will help keep the cold air out and the warm air in.
